Intro

Yesterday two sisters had a brain storm. After eating our weight in Easter chocolate we came together with a similar conclusion in an instant: "We better do something about our fat asses right NOW!" We've both struggled individually over a decade with our weight and this time we are teaming up to battle the bulge. The decision to blog about it in an open forum, instead of the Weight Watchers site is so we can be brutally honest. This is going to be one hilarious weight loss trip.

Double Birthday Parties_AGAIN!

What are the chances of having another 2 birthday parties in one day? Well, pretty great since I planned them both. Had a Part 1 party for friends and Part 2 party for family for my daughter's birthday. Part 1 was at a local Environmental Center and tons of fun, Part 2 was more of a catered affair with out of town family. The excellent part about both parties was that I was able to plan the food and drinks and know that I had control of my eating since I planned it out already.

I started the day with a slightly larger breakfast and only served some chips and cake at Party1, which was easy to avoid since I was rather busy serving and such. Party 2 was more about food, but since Sister1 and my mom (both on WW) were coming I made sure we had fruit and veggies and all discussed our points and even weighed our chicken before eating it. FANTASTIC!!! We all had enough points left for a cupcake and enjoyed the evening with live music from a dear friend.

What a wonderful day! And it's followed by no food regrets or guilt. I sampled everything that I wanted (Chicken Parm, stuffed shells, Italian hero, salad, fruit and a cupcake!!!!). Awesome.

Sister1, you stayed on track also I believe, yes? With your mobile points tracker? Way to go!
